The junior campus of the College is situated just three minutes walk from the Heyington campus and station. Here, boys participate and learn in a challenging and caring environment. Specialist teachers offer Spanish, Music, Art, Health and Physical Education, Library and Outdoor Education. An integrated approach to teaching and learning provides students with opportunities to develop and consolidate knowledge, skills, attitudes and values.

Glendalough provides a positive social and learning environment that develops a broad range of curricular and extra curricular activities, embracing the arts as well as sport and physical education. Weekly assemblies recognise the boys' achievement, effort and service to others and enable them to share their creative talents.

All students participate in classroom, instrumental and choral sessions within the Music program and a high percentage are members of ensemble and choir groups. On alternate years all boys participate in a Visual Arts Exhibition and Junior School Music Production.

The House System generates a great sense of spirit and belonging. Student participation, sportsmanship and teamwork in the House swimming, cross-country, athletics carnivals and tabloid sports are highlights. All boys in Years 5 and 6 participate on a weekly basis in the APS Sport Competition. Years 3-6 students eagerly look forward to their homeroom camp.

Glendalough encourages all boys to be actively involved in all facets of their learning so that they enjoy themselves, grow in confidence, responsibility and respect for others.
