Memberships and Donations

The St Kevin’s College Foundation operates on a purely philanthropic basis and relies on the support of our generous St Kevin’s College community including Old Collegians, current and past parents and friends of the school. There are a number of ways you can support the Foundation, and in doing so, enable the Foundation to continue its important work.

Foundation Membership

Becoming a member of the St Kevin’s College Foundation is one of the most valuable investments a person can make towards future generations of the school. It also ensures St Kevin’s continues to foster links with past and current students and families.

Membership of the Foundation is for life and the donor will receive a certificate from the Foundation and be recorded on the Foundation’s register of members.

Who can be a member?

Individuals can apply for membership. Joint members will also be recognised where a relationship exists such as blood or marriage (e.g. parents of a student). Any corporation, incorporated association, not-for-profit organisation or group can also become a member of the Foundation. The entity will be required to nominate one person as the representative Member.

Apply for membership

Qualification for membership of the Foundation is by way of making a monetary gift to the Foundation of $5,000 within a 5-year period. Should you wish to make a more substantial contribution, for example by supporting the cost of one or more full bursaries, please contact (03) 9832 4974 for a confidential discussion.

To apply for membership, please complete the online Membership Application FormShould you have any questions regarding your application please contact the Foundation Secretary, Kevin Culliver OAM on (03) 9832 4974

Bequests

A bequest is a gift in your memory, made through your Will. Foundation membership may also be granted to a person who makes a written statement that he or she has made or intends to make a Bequest in their Will to the Foundation, and upon acceptance of their statement by the Board, shall be deemed to have made a gift to the Foundation equal to the amount or value estimated in their statement.

Making a Bequest is a way of expressing appreciation for the past benefits the College has provided to you or members of your family and is also a means of ensuring that the benefits of being part of the St Kevin’s College community continue into the future.

If you wish to become a member by making a bequest in your Will please contact the Foundation Secretary on (03) 9832 4974 for further details.

Donations

A donation to the St Kevin’s Foundation is a treasured gift and an ongoing investment in the future.

As an alternative to applying for membership, individuals can become a Friend of the Foundation. Friends of the Foundation may make financial gifts from time to time to the Foundation in amounts of their choosing. Each and every donation made to the Foundation means we are one step further towards reaching our goal. The Foundation truly appreciates any contribution an individual is able to make.

To make a donation and become a Friend of the Foundation please complete Section 2 of the Membership Application Form.
