COVID-19 Update: At-Home Learning

The Department of Education and Training Victoria has stated that, in line with the advice from Victoria’s Chief Health Officer, all schools will move to remote learning at the commencement of Term 2.

This includes the direction that “if students can learn from home, they must learn from home”. This advice can be found here on The Department of Education and Training Victoria Website https://www.education.vic.gov.au/about/department/Pages/coronavirus.aspx.

In response, the Catholic Education Commission of Victoria has directed all Catholic schools as follows:

“On the advice of the Victorian Chief Health Officer, the CECV advises that all Victorian Catholic schools transition [sic] are required to transition to remote and flexible learning arrangements for Term 2”.

This advice can be found here on the Catholic Education Melbourne Website: https://www.cem.edu.au/Coronavirus.aspx.

St Kevin's College is operating in line with this advice to help ensure the safety of our community.

Staff Access to Site under Stage 3 Restrictions:

The College is currently controlling access onsite to essential workers, including staff supervising students, and students who need to attend school. These restrictions are in place as a preventative measure while still providing appropriate support for those who need to come on-site.
