This Week at St Kevin's

  • Social Justice Week was celebrated at the College.
  • Kenny students with Ms Sheridan assisted with the preparation and serving of breakfast at St Mary’s House of Welcome.
  • Year 7D, 7E and 7F enjoyed their Outdoor Education Program with tutors, Mr Tinsey, Mr Bowlby and Mr Coyle,
  • McCarthy students with Mr Keenan assisted with the serving of dinner at St Peter and Paul’s in South Melbourne.
  • Prep Students visited the Collingwood Children’s Farm.
  • VCE Visual Communication Design students enjoyed a visit to the VCE Top Designs.
  • Years 10-12 Kearney students, staff and parents enjoyed the Kearney House Trivia Night.
  • The Basketball and Rowing Associations and Friends of Art met.
  • Edmund Rice Day was celebrated with a Full School Mass in the Wilding Centre, followed by Tabloid Sports, at Glendalough, the Years 7-9 Walkathon and the Years 10-12 Tutor Group outing.
  • Mr Leon Egan, the Indigenous and Multi-Cultural Relationship Manager at the AFL, was an engaging speaker at the Parent Enrichment Program.
  • Year 6 students continued their swimming lessons in the Wilding Centre.
  • Year 10 students continued Community Service.
  • The Junior Science Conference was enjoyed by parents, students and staff.
  • Students from the St Vincent de Paul Society accompanied by Ms Sheridan tutored students in Tarneit.
  • The Theatre Studies production, The Exception and the Rule, was performed over three nights in the Ruby Tout Theatre.
  • The Year 3 Reconciliation Parent Information Evening was held.
  • The Glendalough Mother’s Day Stall was held.
  • Cusack students and Mr Butcher assisted with the Breakfast and Sports Program at Trinity Primary School in Richmond.
  • St Kevin’s was well represented at the VCSSDPA Women in Leadership Dinner.
  • Friday Morning Mass was held in the Chapel of St Kevin.
  • Ms Anna Burke was the Year 12 Guest Speaker.
  • Year 10 French practised their French at a French restaurant.
  • Kearney students and Ms Maple assisted at the Kids Kaboom Club in Richmond.
  • Purton students and Ms Banks assisted at the Police and Community Recreation Program in Richmond.
