Instrumental Music
The instrumental music program (Levy Program) begins in Year 3 with orchestral strings. New students in Years 5 and 6 are introduced to wind and brass instruments.

St Kevin’s College offers individual lessons in a wide range of instruments to students throughout the College. Lessons take place during the school day and are available on:
- Woodwind: Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Bassoon, Saxophone
- Brass: French Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Euphonium, Baritone, Tuba
- Strings: Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass
- Piano, Organ
- Voice
- Guitar: Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar, Classical
- Percussion (including Drum Kit)
- Theory
Ensembles
The College offers a wide range of bands, orchestras, choirs and small ensembles for all students. The ensemble program includes camps, tours, regular school performances and concerts in venues such as Hamer Hall. Ensembles rehearse once per week, before or after school or during lunchtime.
