After School Study

Student Study Programs

The College offers a range of opportunities for students in Years 7 – 12 to complete work beyond the school day. With the support of academic teaching staff, Old Boys and, in the Middle School, Year 10 Vitae students, the boys have access to assistance where they might require help in certain subject areas. The idea of these programs is for the boys to establish a routine in completing their work, studying and revising, and working in an environment that is distraction-free. The College hopes that, with regular attendance at the after-school study programs, students will establish and sustain a study regimen that will become part of the natural academic landscape at St Kevin’s College. In each of the settings, there are opportunities for students to work collaboratively and individually. All of these study programs are overseen by the Director of Students, with support from teachers in the various parts of the whole school.
